Fire Bomb - Avengers x Reader Ch.2

    "Kid, you're not going anywhere with that leg of yours." Tony said kneeling to aid you. You couldn't take it anymore, you just wanted to be left alone. "LEAVE ME ALONE!!" you yell angrily, and at the same moment fire burst through the perimeter of the room. The fire sprinklers come on and extinguish the fire while everyone just stared in awe at you. "I just want to be left alone..." you say in a low whisper.

    You sat there, silently sobbing. Thor came to your side first. "What ails you, child?", Thor asked with concern. He felt as though that it was his fault that you were crying on the floor of Stark Tower and the fact that he practically dragged you here made matters worse on Thor's emotions. 'It's not your fault, Thor.', a voice reassured in his mind. Thor looked around to see who said that, but to no avail. You chuckled seeing how funny Thor looked soo clueless. "Did..did you hear that?" Thor asked you, clearly confused. This only made you laugh harder, as everyone looked at you as if you were a madman. "Hey, kid? What's so funny?" Clint asked. You grumbled in annoyance. "I have a name you know." you said as you slowly got up. "Well then enlighten us, bonfire." Tony said, clearly with humor on the nickname. You sigh, "It's (Y/N) (L/N), but just call me (Y/N)." You suddenly felt to weak to stand and collapsed onto the floor. "(Y/N)!!" everyone yelled as the world became a black abyss to your vision.

    Thor suddenly had a panic, not knowing what to do to help. "(Y/N)! Please wake up!" He was now shaking her limp body in complete panic. Tony and Bruce quickly made him stop and tried to calm him down. "Thor, it's ok," Bruce began, "she only passed out from the blood loss from her knee. We just need to get her to the infirmary to heal her." Thor took a deep breath to compose himself before gingerly picking (Y/N) up and following Bruce to said place. As Thor and Bruce left to tend to (Y/N)'s knee, the rest of the Avengers got a call from Director Fury to meet him at the helicarrier for an important meeting. Soon, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Tony Stark, and Captain America arrived for the meeting. "Where's Thor and Dr. Banner?" Fury asked quickly, realizing that said men were missing for this meeting. Steve was the first to speak, "They had to take care of...some important matter." He didn't want Fury know they were tending to a kid. "And this matter happened to be..?" Fury was already becoming annoyed. Steve was about to speak when Clint jumped in, "There was this girl that Thor bumped into and apparently she got an injury so they're attending to her wounds right now." Oh no. "They are missing this meeting because of a girl?!" Fury was..well, in fury (no pun intended). He was about to yell again when the doors opened revealing Thor, Banner, and (Y/N).

    "Sorry we're late, sir." Bruce said as he and Thor took their seats. Fury stared at you for a moment before speaking, "Who are you?" You looked at him for a moment, "I'm (Y/N) (L/N), but call me (Y/N)." "And why is this girl on the helicarrier?" Tony coughed before speaking, "Well, I'm sure Bonfire over here can show us, right?" At that you use your fire powers to singe his beard and your telepathy to throw him against the wall. "Don't you EVER use that nickname for me again!" Tony got up and brushed himself off while everyone else were in awe. "I'm just going to ignore what just happened and on with this meeting.", Fury announced, "As you may know, Loki is trying to gain our trust. Therefore he will become a new avenger, but we will need to find a way to find out if he lies or not." You cough and gain the attention of everyone, "I have a suggestion, I'm a telepath and I could tell if someone lies." Clint thought for a moment then spoke, "Let's test that then." You nod in agreement, "Then ask away." Clint hesitated, "I have a crush on Natasha. Is this true?" You quickly used you telepathy powers to see and once done you smirk an, oh so evil smirk. "It's true, and may I add that you also sometimes purpo-" "She's good! She's good!" Clint interrupts quickly and trying to hide his blush but it was too late. Tony was the first to notice, "So...Birdboy! Got the hots for Redhead?" The Avengers all laughed, excluding Natasha and Clint who were blushing so hard that their faces were as red as a rose. "But how can we trust (Y/N). You all just met her today." Fury said, "Plus, I'm sure her parents are worried since she has been away from home." You flinch at the statement of you parents and try to hold back the stinging feeling in your eyes. "Miss (Y/N), do you know where your parents are at now so that we may contact them?" Fury asked. You just look away and say, "It wouldn't matter...they're dead. I wouldn't have anywhere to go anyway." Everyone gave a sympathetic look towards you. Tony spoke first, "Well...
